Styling the wardrobe for this Borlino photo shoot was a wonderful experience. Darrell Ratliff, the designer of all the amazing bags, totes, and briefcases that Borlino has to offer is such a kind and creative guy. Jarrod Renaud photographed the gorgeous Italian leather pieces on the handsome Nava brothers, Mark and Jason. I pulled wardrobe from Nordstrom and the incredible Tikwid, located in Cherry Creek North. We started before sunrise in the heart of Denver and made our way through the city, capturing these amazing shots. Hope you enjoy and take a moment to check out Borlino – www.borlino.com

Mumbai Inspired Engagement
I was commissioned by the beautiful Crystal Scott to style this Mumbai-inspired engagement session. Over our initial phone conversation, I asked Crystal how she and Adam met. She told me about their first date, in Mumbai, India, and I knew I had our theme. I brought in authentic props from India and florals from Bare Root Flora. The incredible Laura Murray captured everything beautifully!

This gorgeous concept shoot was brought to me by Denver photographer Michele Hart and Rachel Hagen of Talia Events. We spent the day in a lovely Boulder home creating a dreamy day full of cake, flowers, and beautiful wardrobe and props. The beautiful flowers were by the amazing Cori Cookand the sweet peach cake was by Kim & Jake’s Cakes. Hair and makeup by Steele the Spotlight and wardrobe and styling by me. Enjoy this day in the life of real-life couple Kelly and Mike and see the feature by Style Me Pretty here.
I was commissioned by Shannon Von Eschen of Shalynne Imaging. We joined forces along with some other awesome Denver/Boulder talent to create these images full of dreamy boho inspiration. The beautiful dresses are from Free People and necklaces, earrings and headband are by Anthropologie as well as all the scarves for the teepee. Wooden rings are by Shannon’s amazing father and are available here. Shannon’s full blog post can be viewed here with complete credits. This inspiring editorial was published on the lovely Fab You Blisswedding blog.
The mission behind this shoot was to highlight the groom, who too often takes a back seat to the bride on the wedding day. We featured as many Denver vendors as possible, wanting to highlight the rich local talent we have.

Styling the Spahn family was a wonderful adventure. Two amazing parents, four energetic kids, and one incredibly talented photographer made this shoot a completely beautiful success! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Danielle and could not be more impressed with her skills as a wife and mother. She runs her home with so much love and joy, and Jeff is such a playful dad, I can’t imagine a happier household to grown up in. Jarrod Renaud captured the many sweet and magical moments that happened as we ran and played in the great Colorado outdoors using a myriad of film cameras, his perfected craft.
I styled the Spahn family in casual dress, bringing in details that leant charm and whimsy. The boys wore plaid shirts, vests, suspenders, and ties, and the girls wore dresses with lace, tulle, and ruffled boot socks. I had Jeff bring his guitar and the Spahns had a little jam session on hay bales covered with burlap and checked cloth, followed by a time of posing and playing. This gorgeous family farm in Lyons belongs to some dear friends, the Nowlin family. Huge thanks to them for welcoming us onto their property and even leaving us homemade chocolate chip cookies!
Julie Arnoldy Maternity
Julie reached out to me to do MUA and style her for her maternity session with Jarrod Renaud. We achieved the beautiful bohemian looks with pieces from Francesca's and Anthropologie. Julie welcomed baby Oskar just a few days after this shoot!

This shoot was actually done on a 100 degree day in the summer of 2012. Thanks to the forward thinking genius of Jarrod, we had bags of leaves from the previous Fall. Add in vintage jewelry from my collection, a lovely gown from a vintage shop in Longmont, makeup by Natosha Cooke, Fall florals by the amazing Robyn Rissman of Bare Root Flora and modeling by the beautiful Julian Machann and we achieved a unique and lovely set of images. Headpiece by me, shoes by Anthropologie.

The Willinghams of Denver captured all the styling I could dream up for this Winter Wedding editorial.
I wanted to create something with inspirational details and a bohemian edge and show that a winter wedding in Colorado can be the most perfect event. I brought in lots of feathers, quite a bit of leather, and put my DIY skills to work making feathered plates and champagne glasses, garlands, a belt for the bride and all the other details you’ll see. One of my favorite processes for this shoot was designing a cake with the incredible Rachael Teufel of Intricate Icings. When I sat down to describe my dream cake to Rachael, I showed her photos of the real leather belts I wanted her to put on the cake tiers and she said, “Oh Jill, I can make those out of sugar!” – (insert mind blown). I also wanted one curved feather on the top tier and of course she pulled that out of her magical sugar hat as well. I requested some fabulous furniture from sweet Gretchen at Chairished and incredible flowers arranged by the ladies at Bare Root Flora. The custom stationary was hand drawn by Denver artist Fletcher Zaragoza and the hand made wooden rings and cake server are from Jarrod Renaud of The Reno Brothers who also modeled as our dashing groom in a bow tie by Our House Vintage. Our bride is the gorgeous Anastasia Novikova who is wearing a gown byWinifred Bean and hand made earrings by Christina Graziano with hair styled by Graham Nation and makeup by Stephanie Klasse. I feel so thankful to know so many creative people who are all willing to pull together and lend their talents and hand made processes.
I hope you enjoy the winter wonderland we created…
